Recommended Fabric

The best fabric choice is Outdoor Sunscreen U400, designed and made specifically for outdoor use. Unlike standard sunscreen fabrics with a simple 2×2 weave, it has a PVC-coated finish that makes U400 up to 10 times more tear-resistant. Its 4% openness filters sunlight and reduces heat effectively while keeping a clear view outside.

Outdoor Sunscreen U5350 It also comes in a 350 cm width, so awnings up to 3.5 m high can be made with no seams, for a flawless design.

Other sunscreen fabrics can be used in general locations, such as in the city or where the wind is not too strong, but are strongly not recommended for seaside or high-wind locations, because their structure cannot withstand tension as well as U400.

Other options include Acrylic fabric, with beautiful colours ideal for design-led projects, and Sunscreen Blackout fabric, for anyone who needs maximum heat protection and privacy.
